The Player's Eye
This thesis focused on the relationship between the design of a protagonist in a video-game's story and how the player interprets the game through its eyes. It involved the creation of a prototype game Limbo's Gaol, which served as a testing playground to gather data for the thesis.
I worked on the thesis during my stay in Sweden, where I took part in the Game Design course at Chalmers University of Technology and my supervisor was Michael Heron.
The thesis was an overall success, arriving at good conclusions and having a project I am proud of.
The concept
Although the thesis finished as The Player's Eye, it started much more connected to the overall narrative of video games, but just a very broad idea. Which I then had to narrow through many iterations just so I could arrive at what I had in the end.
